Jennifer began her relationship with horses at age 5, taking lessons at a local farm. As she got older, she participated in 4-H, riding and competing on various ponies and horses. To get extra time with her obsession, she did barn chores, taught lessons, and did anything she could to spend extra time on the farm. Jennifer rode horses through college: trail riding, competing in hunters, and dabbling in eventing and low-level dressage.
For as long as she can remember, Jennifer has always aspired to have a career helping horses. However, life took her on a circuitous path and into a career as a lawyer.
In 2016, she bought Bourbon, an OTTB who always seemed somewhat uncom-fortable in his body. A few years later, she thought that a traditional massage might help him feel better, but he wasn't able to relax. As she researched better ways of helping him, she discovered the Masterson Method. It was an instant hit with Bourbon! The light touch and cooperative style of bodywork is just what he needed to finally soften his eye and let go of tension throughout his body.
Jennifer finds it tremendously satisfying to improve the lives of horses by helping them release tension, increase range of motion, improve performance, and generally feel good. She looks forward to partnering with your horse to help him feel and perform at his very best.
